Information:Die vermutlich in die karolingische Zeit zurückreichende Reichsburg kam 949 an das Moritzkloster und gehörte bis 1635 zum Territorium des Erzstifts Magdeburg. Im 12. Jh. entstand eine aus zwei Teilen zusammengsetzte Siedlung mit Magdeburger Recht.
